How the app works
SpeakAble makes communication easier in three steps – from thought to clear message, whether you express yourself with text, pictures or signs.

Write or choose pictures
The user writes a message or taps pictures to put together what they want to say – at their own pace, without stress.
- STEP 2
Build messages
Text and pictures are combined into clear messages. The app supports TAKK signs so the communication is easy for the recipient to understand.

Learn TAKK
In the Kids version, TAKK is practised through simple, playful exercises – learning should be fun and motivating.
Our vision
We want to make communication easier for people who find it hard to communicate through speech or text. Everyone has something to say – SpeakAble should make it possible to say it.
The app makes it easier to express needs, feelings and thoughts through text, pictures and TAKK. It also helps users learn TAKK in a simple, interactive way, so that signs become a natural part of everyday life.
In the long run, we want SpeakAble to be there when communication matters most – at home, in the classroom and on a dedicated touchscreen device built especially for this.
